General FAQ:
How can I join the club if I haven’t already and how much does it cost?
Membership for the whole year is $30 which gets you access to all of our parties and trips, a club t-shirt, discounts from our sponsors, and chances to meet tons of cool people from UCLA and other UCs. You can sign up online at laboardclub.com under the membership tab, stop by 529 or 525 1/2 Landfair Ave with cash or check, or contact Kris at (510) 610-2011.
Do I have to know how to snowboard or ski to join the club?
No! There are people of all skill levels in the club. Come on trips and start learning! Even if you don’t want to ski or snowboard, you can join us on trips with the party package.
When are meetings?
We only really hold pre-trip information meetings. Come to the parties and on trips to meet all your fellow club members and have a good time! Joining the Facebook group “Board Club @ UCLA” is a great way to keep up to date with all our events.
How much are trips and when are they?
We have various trips throughout the year, with most of the snowboarding/skiing ones in winter quarter or the beginning of spring quarter. Weekend trips are about $180, but there will be other trips like camping that will be much cheaper. When we get all the info about trips we will send it out in an event on Facebook so make sure you join the group!
How can I get my shirt if I haven’t already?
You can find us at De Neve quad on certain evenings. These dates will be posted on the Facebook group.

All-Cal FAQ:
How much is the trip?
AllCal is $650 this year. To save your spot it’s a $200 deposit.
How do I get in my deposit?
There’s a link to our WePay account at laboardclub.com under the events tab, and right here: https://www.wepay.com/tickets/view/163108. Or stop by 525 ½ and 529 Landfair Ave. and talk to Kris, Omeed, Chase, or Garrett. Get in your deposit as soon as possible, spots are filling up VERY fast!
Where are we going for AllCal and when is it?
This year we are going to Steamboat Springs, CO! It takes place the first week of winter break, December 10-17th.
What does the $650 for AllCal include?
Bus transportation to and from Steamboat Springs, 5 nights in nice condos all next to each other, a 4 day lift ticket pass, access to all the parties and events on the trip, an AllCal t-shirt, and competitions against the other UCs including boat races, flip cup, dirty dancing and more, all to win the All-Cal cup between the 7 UC ski and snowboard clubs.
A bus ride to Steamboat? Sounds long.
Well my friend then you obviously don’t know board club well enough. Does the bus ride take 17 hours? Yes. Does it feel like it only lasts a few? Yes. Is it possibly the best part of the trip? Yes.
Will I be able to rent equipment there if I don’t have my own?
Yes, definitely! At a discounted rate as well.

November 1st. If you have trouble meeting that deadline let us know and we might be able to work something out.
